News on Balfron Active Places Proposals

Balfron Community Council and Stirling Council are holding a Community Drop-In Event as part of the Balfron Active Places project on Monday 17th June 2019, 3pm to 8pm, McLintock Hall (Lower Hall).

We held a Community Drop-In Event in April relating to proposals for Printer’s Row and The Clachan. This next event in June relates to proposals being developed for the Buchanan Street and Station Road areas. This will be an opportunity to discuss these detailed design proposals and leave feedback with the design team. The detailed proposals will also be available to view and comment on via the Balfron Active Places website - https://balfronactiveplacesproposals.commonplace.is/

Following on from the June event, we will also hold a Community Drop-In event on Monday 22 July 2019, 3pm to 8pm, McLintock Hall (Lower Hall) which will provide an opportunity for the community to review the concept design ideas which are being developed for the whole village Active Travel Plan. As part of the July event there will also be a ‘walk and talk’ session around the village to discuss issues at certain locations on site.
